In 2021, the global photovoltaic installed capacity is 175GW+, +20.7% year-on-year. Top 10 countries with installed capacity: China (54.9GW, year-on-year +40%), the United States (26.9GW, year-on-year +40%), India (13GW, year-on-year +195.5%), Japan (6.5GW, -21% YoY), Brazil (5.5GW, +77.4% YoY), Germany (5.3GW, +8.2% YoY), Spain (4.9GW, +75% YoY), Australia (4.6GW, +75% YoY) 12.2%), South Korea (4.2GW, +2.4% yoy), France (3.3GW, +266.7% yoy). In 2021, the installed capacity of the top 10 in the world will be about 3GW, which is basically the same as that in 2020 and twice the level required in 2019; the top 10 countries account for about 74% of the global annual PV installed capacity, which is slightly lower than that in 2020 (78%). There is a decline.

In 2021, the global cumulative installed capacity is 942GW+, a year-on-year increase of +22.8%: In 2021, at least 20 countries will have a cumulative installed capacity of more than 1GW, 15 countries will have a cumulative installed capacity of more than 10GW, and 5 countries will have a cumulative installed capacity of more than 40GW: China's cumulative installed capacity will be 308.5G3W, a year-on-year increase. +21.7%, ranking first, followed by the European Union (178.7GW, +18.1% year-on-year), the United States (123GW, year-on-year +12%), Japan (78.20GW, year-on-year +9.5%), India (60.4GW, year-on-year +27.4 %).

PV installed capacity by continent: new installed capacity in 2021 accounted for Asia (52%), America (21%), Europe (slightly higher than 17%), Middle East and Africa (3%), other regions (7%); cumulative Installed capacity accounted for Asia (57%), Europe (21%), the Americas (16%), the Middle East, Africa and the rest of the world (6%).

The contribution of photovoltaic power generation accounts for an average of 5% in the world and 4.8% in China: Australia, Spain, Greece, Honduras, the Netherlands, Chile and Germany theoretically account for more than 10% of their annual electricity demand. On the world average, the contribution of photovoltaic power generation is close to 5% of the world's electricity demand, +1.3% year-on-year; China is 4.8%, slightly lower than the world average, -1.2% year-on-year
