Photovoltaic system design guide,Including special installation environment
In order to safely introduce photovoltaic power generation systems installed on slopes, farms and water, NEDO has issued the "2021 Photovoltaic Power Generation System Design and Construction Guidelines." The ground guidelines were published in 2019, but so far no guidelines for special installation environments have been developed.
With the popularity of solar power generation, the installation environment is diversifying into slopes, farmland and water. In such a special installation place, design and construction are more difficult than ordinary ground installation. However, until now, no guidelines indicating specific design and construction methods have been provided.
To this end, the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) has updated the "Solar Power Generation System Design and Construction Guide 2021", which will be installed on slopes, farmland (solar sharing) and water sources, and three new guidelines have been issued.
NEDO announced ground guidelines in 2019. This time added slope-mounted, agricultural, and water-mounted structural design, electrical design, and construction projects.
The guidelines for slope installation types, agricultural types, and water installation types broadly cover the items required during structural/electrical design, preliminary investigation, construction, and maintenance.
In addition to the basic concepts of construction, the "Guide to Design and Construction of Slope Photovoltaic Power Generation System" also explains plans for cutting, embankment, and drainage. The "Guidelines for the Design and Construction of Agricultural Photovoltaic Power Generation Systems" also elaborated on the important anti-electric shock measures for agricultural use under power generation facilities.
The issuance of the guidelines is part of NEDO's commissioned business, and the project period is the end of 2022. NEDO plans to further revise it in the future to reflect the results of other demonstration experiments.
