In Latin America and the Caribbean in 2014 clean energy investment of $23 billion

According to the inter-american development bank and bloomberg new energy finance, a report published in 2014, Latin America and the Caribbean clean energy investment rose by nearly 50%, to $23 billion.


According to the report, Brazil's total investment of $14 billion, followed by Mexico and Chile to invest $2 billion, respectively.
Wind power is still in Latin America and the Caribbean clean energy investment benefits the main object.In Brazil, Mexico, panama, and Uruguay's main wind power has attracted $15.5 billion investment.
Solar electric power investment record of $2014 in 2.8 billion, is mainly composed of Chile and Honduras led development.
By the end of 2014, Latin America and the Caribbean clean energy installed capacity up to 39 gw, equivalent to 11% of the total generating capacity of the region.If included in the hydropower station, 56% of the region's energy is supplied by carbon-free resources.
