In 2015, a German renewable energy expansion of bumper harvest.Germany last year, nearly a third of the demand for electricity by renewable energy delivery, the onshore wind power and solar photovoltaic (pv) take the lead.

Renewable energy scholar Volker Quaschning recently published results show that: "in 2015, about a third of the total electricity use in Germany. Renewable energy renewable energy more than the power generation in 2014 accounted for the biggest lignite. The largest contribution to the land wind power for electricity generation, followed by biomass and solar power."
As photovoltaic magazine notes, although Germany photovoltaic installation rates declined, but the German renewable energy installations are constantly refresh record.
Volker Quaschning concluded in 2015, Germany's 194 TWH power renewable energy supplies. This accounts for 32.5% of the total electricity consumption during the country's 587 tw, up 27.4% from 2014.
In 2015, the onshore wind power become the largest source of renewable energy power supply, power generation 77.9 TWH.Followed by 49.9 TWH biomass power generation, solar photovoltaic power generation 38.5 TWH, hydropower 19.5 TWH, and offshore wind 8.1 TWH.
